Reversible Tote Bag

Well today was a rainy Sunday and what do most people do on days like a reversible bag, of course. I found a really cute and easy tutorial on and decided to give it a try. Here's how it turned out. Super Cute!! This one is for a teen daughter of a friend. I plan to make plenty more and post them on my etsy shop. Be on the lookout for them.

Feels Like Christmas

Well I did it! For months now I've been interested in getting a serger. I'm not sure of all that a serger can do - only a few things but it seemed like something I would enjoy having. Well today I got one. I'm sure it'll take me a while to get the hang of it but I'm really excited to learn what it can do. Here's a pic of the one I got.

I'm an ETSY Newbie

Well Bloggers, I have officially launched my ETSY shop (sort of)! I am what's called a Newbie! I have just a very basic working knowledge of ETSY and how it works and I'm sure there will be a learning curve but I walk through every step along with you and give you updates as to my progress. I have studied a little about how to set up my Shop Policies so I started there. This weekend I even added a few items to my store. Keep in mind...I'm just beginning. I also figured out how to forward all my internet traffic (which ther is very little of right now) directly to my site. So now when you go to you'll be at my store!!! Isn't it great! Also I forund the cutest little photo to use as my ETSY avatar. Check it out. It'sone of my satisfied customers. Later bloggers, I'll be back!

Getting back into the swing of things

Well, it's a new year and Sew Mamas has been busy. We have been crafting like crazy! Here are some of the things we've been working on...

Pillowcase Dresses -These are cute little summertime dresses for toddler size girls. The are simple yet adorable. She'll be the envy of all of her friends in one of these.

Diaper Bags, Blankets, and more Bibs and Burp Cloths - Recently we've been making these little coordinating sets. Everybody loves them!

Brrr It's been cold this week. So just yesterday I made a Fleece/Flannel blanket for a brand new baby with a cute little satin binding. I haven't given it to her yet but I hope she likes it.
