After I made some burp pads for Zadi Jae', my little cousin, I decided she should have some matching bibs to go along with them. I used the same fabic (Tutti Frutti - my new favorite) to do a "Groovy Alphabet" applique. I purchased the Groovy Alphabet applique from GGDesigns. I love purchasing from them because they are really reasonably priced and because their prices are in a different currency it always feels like your getting it on sale. I haven't sewn the bib yet (that's why the edges are raw) but I'll be sending these off to Zadi pretty soon.

This Easter Sunday the family and I spent a day relaxing and getting ready for the upcoming week. My idea of relaxing was looking up new things to embroider. I bought a pack of Gerber cloth diapers and went to work. I found a tutorial on how to transform the diapers into really cute burp cloths. I cant remember where I got the tutorial but I'll post it when I do. Check out my progress.

Well, this is my first attempt at blogging. From what I hear it's pretty addictive and once I get started, I'll catch on really easily. Here's hoping... Anyway, my blog is all about my experiences with my new embroidery machine ( a 10 year anniversary gift from my husband). I've been trying my hand at chenille baby bibs. Lots of babies in the family and I thought they would make cute gifts. Here's a photo of one.
